AIRFIX-O Cefixime Dispersible Tablets 100mg

Indication

Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections including pharyngitis, tonsillitis, otitis media, uncomplicated urinary tract infections, and lower respiratory tract infections.

Ingredients

• Cefixime 100mg (dispersible tablet)

Direction

Adults: 200–400mg per day in one or two divided doses. Children: 8mg/kg/day as a single dose or in two divided doses. Disperse tablet in water before taking. Take with or without food.

Side effects

• Diarrhoea
• nausea
• abdominal pain.
• Headache
• dizziness.
• Skin rash.
• Rare: severe allergic reaction.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to cephalosporins.
• Cross
• sensitivity may occur with penicillin allergy.
• Dose adjustment in renal impairment.
• Complete the full course of treatment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
