Indication
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and chronic stable angina or vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina.
Ingredients
- Amlodipine besylate equivalent to amlodipine 10mg
Direction
Adults: 10mg once daily. Take at the same time each day, with or without food.
Side effects
- Peripheral oedema (ankle swelling).
- Flushing
- headache
- dizziness.
- Palpitations
- fatigue.
- Nausea
- abdominal pain.
Precautions
- Use with caution in severe hepatic impairment.
- Ankle oedema is more common at 10mg dose.
- Do not stop medication abruptly.
- Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Keep out of reach of children.
