Indication

Treatment and prevention of Vitamin C deficiency (scurvy). Supports immune function, wound healing, and antioxidant activity.

Ingredients

• Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) 500mg

Direction

Adults: 1 tablet daily with water. For treatment of deficiency: up to 1g per day as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea
• diarrhoea) with high doses.
• Rare: kidney stones (oxalate) with prolonged high
• dose use.

Precautions

• High doses may cause kidney stones in susceptible individuals.
• Use with caution in patients with glucose
• 6
• phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency.
• Excessive intake may cause diarrhoea.
• Keep out of reach of children.
