SKINEAL Compound Ketoconazole Cream, 10g

Indication

Treatment of skin conditions involving fungal infection combined with inflammation and secondary bacterial infection, including tinea, eczema with superinfection, and seborrhoeic dermatitis.

Ingredients

• Ketoconazole 2% w/w
• Clobetasol propionate 0.05% w/w
• Neomycin sulfate 0.5% w/w

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area twice daily. Wash hands before and after use. Do not apply to eyes or mucous membranes.

Side effects

• Skin burning or stinging on application
• Skin atrophy with prolonged use
• Contact dermatitis
• Skin discolouration
• Rarely: systemic corticosteroid effects with excessive use

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Do not use on the face for prolonged periods.
• Avoid use in children under 12 years without medical supervision.
• Do not use on open wounds or infected broken skin.
• Prolonged use may cause skin thinning (atrophy) due to corticosteroid component.
• Not for ophthalmic use.
