Indication

Relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, flatulence, bloating, and symptoms associated with gastric hyperacidity and peptic ulcers.

Ingredients

• Aluminium hydroxide 225mg
• Magnesium hydroxide 200mg
• Simethicone 25mg per 5ml

Direction

Take 10–20ml (2–4 teaspoons) four times a day: after meals and at bedtime, or as directed. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Constipation (aluminium component)
• Diarrhoea (magnesium component)
• Nausea

Precautions

• Avoid taking within 2 hours of other oral medications as absorption may be affected.
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment (risk of magnesium and aluminium accumulation).
• Prolonged use should be under medical supervision.
• Not for long
• term use without medical advice.
