Indication
Relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, flatulence, bloating, and symptoms associated with gastric hyperacidity and peptic ulcers.
Ingredients
- Aluminium hydroxide 225mg
- Magnesium hydroxide 200mg
- Simethicone 25mg per 5ml
Direction
Take 10–20ml (2–4 teaspoons) four times a day: after meals and at bedtime, or as directed. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Constipation (aluminium component)
- Diarrhoea (magnesium component)
- Nausea
Precautions
- Avoid taking within 2 hours of other oral medications as absorption may be affected.
- Use with caution in patients with renal impairment (risk of magnesium and aluminium accumulation).
- Prolonged use should be under medical supervision.
- Not for long
- term use without medical advice.
