Salboget 100mcg

Indication

Relief and prevention of bronchospasm in asthma, bronchitis, and other airway conditions associated with reversible obstruction.

Ingredients

• Salbutamol 100mcg per actuation (metered
• dose inhaler)

Direction

For acute relief: inhale 1–2 puffs (100–200mcg) when needed. For prevention before exercise: 2 puffs 15–30 minutes prior. Shake inhaler before use. Maximum 8 puffs in 24 hours without medical advice.

Side effects

• Tremor
• Headache
• Palpitations and tachycardia
• Muscle cramps
• Hypokalaemia with high doses

Precautions

• Seek medical advice if relief diminishes or more frequent use is required.
• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease
• hyperthyroidism
• or diabetes.
• Overuse may paradoxically worsen bronchospasm.
• Rinse mouth after inhalation to reduce oral side effects.
