Indication
Management of moderate to moderately severe pain in adults.
Ingredients
- Tramadol hydrochloride 50mg
Direction
Take 1 tablet (50mg) every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum 400mg per day. Take with or without food.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Dizziness and drowsiness
- Constipation
- Headache
- Sweating
- Dry mouth
- Rarely: seizures
- serotonin syndrome
Precautions
- Risk of dependence and abuse — use cautiously in patients with substance misuse history.
- Avoid with other CNS depressants or MAO inhibitors.
- Not for patients with uncontrolled epilepsy.
- May impair ability to drive or operate machinery.
- Use with caution in elderly
- hepatic
- or renal impairment.
