Indication
Relief of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and acute pain. Also used for ankylosing spondylitis and primary dysmenorrhea.
Ingredients
- Celecoxib 200mg
Direction
Take 200mg orally once daily or 100mg twice daily. Swallow capsules whole with water. May be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal upset
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Peripheral edema
- Hypertension
- Increased cardiovascular risk with long
- term use
Precautions
- Contraindicated in patients with known sulfonamide allergy.
- Avoid in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease or active peptic ulcer.
- Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
- Monitor renal function with prolonged use.
- Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy
- especially in the third trimester.
