Indication
Treatment of vaginal candidiasis (vaginal yeast infections) and other fungal infections caused by Candida species.
Ingredients
- Fluconazole 100mg
Direction
For vaginal candidiasis: take one tablet (150mg usually, or as directed) orally as a single dose. Use as directed by a healthcare provider.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Headache
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhea
- Skin rash
- Elevated liver enzymes with prolonged use
Precautions
- Avoid concurrent use with cisapride
- astemizole
- or pimozide.
- Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.
- Not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy.
- Inform your doctor of all medications you are taking due to potential drug interactions.
