Punchderm MAX Hydrocortisone, Miconazole, Neomycin, 15g

Indication

Treatment of skin conditions where bacterial infection, fungal infection, and inflammation occur together, including infected eczema, intertrigo, and secondarily infected dermatoses.

Ingredients

• Hydrocortisone 1% w/w
• Miconazole nitrate 2% w/w
• Neomycin sulfate 0.5% w/w

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times daily. Gently massage into the skin. Do not cover with an occlusive dressing unless directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Skin irritation
• Burning or stinging sensation
• Itching
• Skin thinning with prolonged use
• Contact sensitization to neomycin
• Rarely
• systemic effects with extensive application

Precautions

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not apply to large areas of the body or use for extended periods.
• Do not use on the face
• groin
• or underarms without medical advice.
• Avoid use on open wounds or infected skin.
• Neomycin may cause sensitization
• discontinue if skin sensitivity develops.
• Prolonged corticosteroid use may cause skin thinning and other local side effects.
