SUTRA 1g sucralfate per 15ml

Indication

Treatment and prevention of duodenal and gastric ulcers. Also used for stress ulcer prophylaxis and GERD symptom relief.

Ingredients

• Sucralfate 1g per 15ml

Direction

Adults: Take 15ml (1g sucralfate) 4 times daily, 1 hour before meals and at bedtime. Shake suspension well before use. Take on an empty stomach.

• Gastric discomfort
• Rarely
• aluminum toxicity with prolonged use in renal impairment

Precautions

• May reduce absorption of other medications
• take other drugs at least 2 hours before sucralfate.
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment due to aluminum accumulation.
• Avoid concurrent antacids within 30 minutes of sucralfate.
• Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
