Indication
Relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, gastric hyperacidity, and flatulence associated with peptic ulcer, gastritis, and GERD.
Ingredients
- Aluminium hydroxide 200mg per 5ml
- Magnesium hydroxide 200mg per 5ml
- Simethicone 25mg per 5ml
Direction
Adults: Take 10β20ml (2β4 teaspoons) 4 times daily, 1β3 hours after meals and at bedtime. Shake well before use. Children: as directed by physician.
Side effects
- Constipation (aluminum component)
- Diarrhea (magnesium component)
- Nausea
- Chalky taste
Precautions
- Use with caution in patients with renal impairment (aluminum and magnesium accumulation).
- May reduce absorption of other medications
- take other drugs 2 hours apart.
- Long
- term use may lead to phosphate depletion.
- Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy.
