Indication

Treatment of a wide range of parasitic worm infections including ascariasis, hookworm, pinworm, tapeworm, giardiasis, and cystic echinococcosis.

• Albendazole 400mg

Direction

Adults and children over 2 years: Take 400mg as a single dose for common intestinal worm infections. For systemic infections, dosage and duration vary — follow physician instructions. May be chewed or swallowed with water. Take with fatty food for better absorption in systemic infections.

• Elevated liver enzymes with prolonged use

Precautions

• Not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy.
• Perform liver function tests and blood counts with prolonged treatment.

• Systemic therapy requires medical supervision.
