Indication

Polysilane UPSA is an antiflatulent and antacid preparation used to relieve bloating, flatulence, abdominal discomfort, and symptoms of gastric hyperacidity including heartburn and acid indigestion.

Ingredients

• Dimethicone (Simethicone) 2.25 g per 15 ml sachet (equivalent to 150 mg/ml)

Direction

Adults: Take 1 sachet (15 ml) 3 times daily, after meals and at bedtime. Shake the suspension well before use. Follow the specific product instructions on the package.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Mild constipation or diarrhoea (rare).
• Nausea (rare).

Precautions

• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks.
• Not recommended for children without medical advice.
• May contain antacid components — caution in severe renal impairment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
