Candid V-1 500mg

Indication

Candid V-1 contains clotrimazole, an antifungal agent used as a single-dose vaginal pessary for the treatment of vaginal candidiasis (thrush). The 500 mg strength is a single-application treatment.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole 500 mg

Direction

Insert one 500 mg vaginal pessary deep into the vagina at bedtime as a single dose. Use the applicator provided. Wash hands before and after use.

Side effects

• Local burning

• Pelvic discomfort (rare).
• Allergic reactions (rare).

Precautions

• For vaginal use only — do not swallow.
• Do not use during menstruation.
• Use with caution during pregnancy — consult a doctor before use.
• May weaken latex condoms and diaphragms — avoid during treatment.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist after treatment or recur frequently.
• Keep out of reach of children.
