SINPOLE Eye Drops 10ml

Indication

SINPOLE Eye Drops most likely contain chloramphenicol, a broad-spectrum antibiotic ophthalmic solution used for the treatment of superficial bacterial eye infections including conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and keratitis caused by susceptible organisms.

Direction

Adults and children: Instil 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 2–4 hours (severe infections) or 3–4 times daily for milder infections. Continue for at least 48 hours after symptoms resolve, up to 5–7 days total. Wash hands before use.

Side effects

• Transient burning or stinging upon instillation.
• Eye irritation.
• Allergic conjunctivitis (rare).
• Aplastic anaemia (extremely rare with topical use).

Precautions

• For ophthalmic use only — do not inject or swallow.
• Remove contact lenses before instilling drops
• wait 15 minutes before reinserting.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface.
• Discontinue and seek medical attention if signs of hypersensitivity occur.
• Prolonged use may cause overgrowth of non
• susceptible organisms.
• Use with caution in patients with blood dyscrasias — chloramphenicol can rarely cause aplastic anaemia with systemic use (topical risk is very low).
