Strepsils Cool Soothing Relief Lozenges for Sore Throats, Cool Sensation

Indication

Strepsils Cool lozenges contain two antiseptic agents (2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol) with menthol for cooling effect. Used for symptomatic relief of sore throat, mouth infections, and throat irritation. They have antibacterial and mild antiviral properties.

Ingredients

• Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
• Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 6 years: Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours as needed. Do not exceed 12 lozenges in 24 hours.

Side effects

• Mild mouth or tongue irritation.
• Allergic reactions (rare).

Precautions

• Not recommended for children under 6 years.
• Contains sugar — caution in patients with diabetes.
• Consult a doctor if sore throat is severe
