Indication
UPSA (Paracetamol 1000 mg effervescent tablet) is an analgesic and antipyretic used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, muscular pain, back pain, and menstrual pain, and to reduce fever.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 1000 mg effervescent tablet
Direction
Adults and adolescents over 15 years: 1 tablet (1000 mg) dissolved in a glass of water every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum 3 g (3 tablets) per day. Take with at least 200 mL of water.
Side effects
- Rare at therapeutic doses.
- Hepatotoxicity with overdose.
- Hypersensitivity reactions (rare).
Precautions
- Do not use with other paracetamol
- containing products — risk of serious overdose.
- Avoid in patients with severe hepatic impairment or severe renal impairment.
- Patients with alcohol
- related liver disease should consult a physician before use.
- Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
- Keep out of reach of children.
