Indication

Panadol 500 mg is a widely used analgesic and antipyretic for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, back pain, muscle pain, menstrual cramps, and for reduction of fever.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum 8 tablets (4 g) in 24 hours. Take with water.

Side effects

• Rare at therapeutic doses.
• Hepatotoxicity with overdose.
• Hypersensitivity reactions (rare).

Precautions

• Do not use with other paracetamol
• containing products — risk of serious overdose.
• Avoid in patients with severe hepatic impairment.
• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
• Alcohol drinkers should consult a physician before use.
• Seek immediate medical help in case of overdose.
• Keep out of reach of children.
