ECONAZINE Cream 10g

Indication

ECONAZINE Cream (Econazole Nitrate 1%) is an imidazole antifungal agent used topically for the treatment of fungal skin infections including tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, pityriasis versicolor, and cutaneous candidiasis.

Ingredients

• Econazole Nitrate 1%

Direction

Adults and children: Apply to the affected skin and surrounding area once or twice daily. Treatment should continue for at least 2 weeks beyond disappearance of symptoms. For tinea pedis: continue for 4–6 weeks. Cleanse and dry the area before applying.

Side effects

• Mild local irritation
• burning
• or stinging at application site.
• Rare: contact dermatitis or allergic reaction.

Precautions

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not use on broken or inflamed skin without medical advice.
• Complete the full course of treatment to prevent recurrence.
• Discontinue if hypersensitivity or severe irritation occurs.
• Keep out of reach of children.
