Indication

Telfast 120 mg (Fexofenadine HCl) is a second-generation, non-sedating antihistamine used for the symptomatic relief of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) including sneezing, runny nose, and itchy/watery eyes.

Ingredients

• Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 120 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents 12 years and over: 120 mg once daily before a meal. For urticaria (if applicable): 180 mg formulation is typically used. Take on an empty stomach or at least 15 minutes before food.

Side effects

• Headache.
• Drowsiness (uncommon).
• Nausea
• dizziness.
• Rare: hypersensitivity reactions.

Precautions

• Avoid taking with apple
• grapefruit
• or orange juice — significantly reduces bioavailability.
• Avoid concurrent use with antacids containing aluminium or magnesium.
• Use with caution in severe renal impairment — reduce dose.
• Minimal sedating effects
