Centacid Aluminum Hydroxide 250mg + Magnesium Hydroxide 200mg + Simethicone 40mg per 5ml; Adults: 2-4 teaspoonfuls twice daily

Indication

Centacid suspension is an antacid used for the relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach, and gas/bloating associated with these conditions. It neutralises excess stomach acid.

Ingredients

• Aluminum Hydroxide 250 mg per 5 mL
• Magnesium Hydroxide 200 mg per 5 mL
• Simethicone 40 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Adults: 10–20 mL (2–4 teaspoonfuls) twice daily, or as directed by a physician. Shake well before use. Take 1 hour after meals and at bedtime for best results. Children: Use only under medical supervision.

• Chalky taste.

Precautions

• Do not use if you have kidney disease without medical advice.
• Prolonged use may lead to constipation or electrolyte imbalance.
• May interfere with absorption of other medications — take other drugs at least 2 hours apart.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks.
• Contains aluminium — avoid prolonged use in patients with renal failure.
• Keep out of reach of children.
