Indication
Strepsils Strawberry Sugar Free lozenges provide antiseptic relief for the symptomatic treatment of sore throat and mouth infections. Suitable for diabetics and those wishing to avoid sugar.
Ingredients
- Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg
- 2
- 4
- Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
Direction
Adults and children over 6 years: Allow one lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 lozenges in 24 hours. Not recommended for children under 6 years.
Side effects
- Hypersensitivity reactions (rash
- itching) — rare.
- Gastrointestinal upset — rare.
Precautions
- Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
- Do not use if hypersensitive to amylmetacresol
- dichlorobenzyl alcohol
- or any excipient.
- Contains sweeteners
- excessive consumption may cause laxative effects.
- If sore throat is severe
- persists for more than 3 days
- or is accompanied by high fever
- consult a doctor.
- Keep out of reach of children.
