Indication
T3 Ada Adapalene Gel 0.1% is a topical retinoid used for the treatment of mild-to-moderate acne vulgaris on the face, chest, or back.
Ingredients
- Adapalene 0.1% w/w
Direction
Apply a thin layer to clean, dry affected skin once daily in the evening. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. Wash hands after application. Allow skin to dry for 20–30 minutes before applying. Results are typically seen after 8–12 weeks of consistent use.
Side effects
- Skin dryness
- peeling
- and flaking.
- Erythema (redness) at the application site.
- Burning or stinging sensation
- especially during first few weeks.
- Skin irritation or pruritus.
- Photosensitivity (increased sensitivity to sunlight).
Precautions
- Do not use if hypersensitive to adapalene or any excipient.
- Avoid contact with eyes
- nostrils
- lips
- and mucous membranes
- rinse with water if contact occurs.
- Avoid use on broken
- sunburned
- eczematous
- or inflamed skin.
- Use sunscreen and avoid excessive sun exposure during treatment
- increases photosensitivity.
- Do not use with other potentially irritating topical products (e.g. products with high alcohol content
- astringents).
- Not recommended during pregnancy
- women of childbearing potential should use adequate contraception.
- Not for use in children under 12 years.
- Keep out of reach of children.
