FUTEND-3 Cream 30g Clotrimazole USP 315mg + Betamethasone

Indication

FUTEND-3 Cream is a combined antifungal and corticosteroid topical preparation used for the treatment of inflammatory fungal skin infections such as tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea corporis (ringworm) where both antifungal and anti-inflammatory action is required.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole USP 1% w/w (315 mg per 30 g tube)
• Betamethasone dipropionate 0.05% w/w

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected and surrounding skin area twice daily (morning and evening). Gently rub in. Wash hands before and after use. Avoid contact with eyes. Treatment duration: typically 2–4 weeks depending on the condition. Do not use for more than 4 weeks without medical advice.

Side effects

• Burning

• Skin irritation or redness.
• Skin thinning or atrophy with prolonged use.
• Stretch marks (striae) with prolonged use.
• Hypersensitivity reactions — rare.

Precautions

• Do not use on the face
• groin
• or underarms unless directed by a physician.
• Do not use if hypersensitive to clotrimazole
• betamethasone
• or any excipients.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Not recommended for use in children under 12 years.
• Prolonged use of corticosteroid
• containing preparations may cause skin thinning (atrophy)

• and other local side effects.
• Do not cover with occlusive dressings unless directed by a doctor.
• Not for use during pregnancy unless clearly necessary
• avoid large areas or prolonged use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
