Colicaid Drops 30ml

Indication

Colicaid Drops is used for the relief of infant colic and flatulence. Simethicone reduces surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, allowing them to coalesce and be expelled more easily. Dill oil has traditional carminative properties to soothe gastrointestinal discomfort in infants.

Ingredients

• Simethicone 40 mg/mL
• Dill oil 0.005 mL/mL

Direction

Infants: 0.5 mL (20 drops) before or after each feeding, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a physician. Shake well before use. Can be mixed with a small amount of water, milk, or infant formula.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Rare reports of loose stools or minor gastrointestinal upset.

Precautions

• For oral use only
• do not inject.
• Intended for infants
• do not use in premature neonates without medical advice.
• If symptoms persist beyond 2 weeks
• consult a physician.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Contains simethicone — generally considered safe
• but consult a doctor before use if the infant has an underlying gastrointestinal condition.
