Indication

Cetrasyl 10 is a second-generation antihistamine used for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial), urticaria (hives), and other allergic conditions.

Ingredients

• Cetirizine hydrochloride 10 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and above: 1 tablet (10 mg) once daily. Children 6–12 years: 5 mg (half tablet) twice daily or 10 mg once daily as directed. Can be taken with or without food.

Side effects

• Drowsiness or fatigue.
• Dry mouth

• Dizziness.
• Rare: allergic reactions
• agitation.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
• dose reduction may be required.
• May cause drowsiness in some patients
• avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.
• Not recommended for children under 6 years without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
