Indication

Montiget 10mg is a leukotriene receptor antagonist used for the prevention and long-term treatment of asthma in adults and adolescents 15 years and above, and for relief of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.

Ingredients

• Montelukast sodium 10 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents 15 years and above: 1 tablet (10 mg) once daily, taken in the evening. May be taken with or without food.

Side effects

• Headache
• dizziness.
• Abdominal pain
• nausea.
• Increased risk of upper respiratory infection.
• Rare: neuropsychiatric effects including agitation
• anxiety
• and depression.

Precautions

• Not intended for acute asthma attacks
• use a rescue inhaler for acute episodes.
• Monitor for neuropsychiatric events including mood changes
• depression
• and suicidal ideation.
• Inform physician of all concomitant medications.
• Keep out of reach of children.
