Indication

Econzin-M is a combination product containing an antihistamine (cetirizine) and a leukotriene receptor antagonist (montelukast) used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and allergic asthma, particularly when both conditions coexist.

Ingredients

• Cetirizine hydrochloride 10 mg
• Montelukast 5 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents 15 years and above: 1 tablet once daily, preferably in the evening. Take with or without food. Use as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• headache.
• Dry mouth.
• Abdominal pain.
• Rare: neuropsychiatric effects.

Precautions

• Monitor for neuropsychiatric effects (mood changes
• agitation
• depression) due to montelukast.
• May cause drowsiness
• avoid driving if affected.
• Avoid alcohol.
• Not for acute asthma attacks.
• Keep out of reach of children.
