Indication
Travicol Flu is a combination cold and flu remedy used for the relief of symptoms associated with the common cold and influenza, including fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, headache, and body aches.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 500 mg
- Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 15 mg
- Chlorpheniramine maleate 5 mg
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Children 6–12 years: 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed under medical supervision.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- dizziness.
- Dry mouth
- blurred vision.
- Increased heart rate (palpitations).
- Difficulty sleeping.
- Rare: liver toxicity with paracetamol overdose.
Precautions
- Do not exceed the recommended dose of paracetamol
- avoid taking other paracetamol
- containing products simultaneously.
- Avoid in patients with hypertension
- heart disease
- or thyroid disorders (due to pseudoephedrine).
- May cause drowsiness (chlorpheniramine)
- avoid driving or operating machinery.
- Avoid alcohol.
- Not recommended for children under 6 years.
- Keep out of reach of children.
