Travicol Flu 500mg/15mg/5mg

Indication

Travicol Flu is a combination cold and flu remedy used for the relief of symptoms associated with the common cold and influenza, including fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, headache, and body aches.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 15 mg
• Chlorpheniramine maleate 5 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Children 6–12 years: 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed under medical supervision.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• dizziness.
• Dry mouth
• blurred vision.
• Increased heart rate (palpitations).
• Difficulty sleeping.
• Rare: liver toxicity with paracetamol overdose.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose of paracetamol
• avoid taking other paracetamol
• containing products simultaneously.
• Avoid in patients with hypertension
• heart disease
• or thyroid disorders (due to pseudoephedrine).
• May cause drowsiness (chlorpheniramine)
• avoid driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid alcohol.
• Not recommended for children under 6 years.
• Keep out of reach of children.
