Bromesim 8mg

Indication

Bromesim is a mucolytic agent used to facilitate the removal of mucus from the respiratory tract in conditions such as bronchitis, asthma, bronchiectasis, and other respiratory conditions associated with excessive mucus production.

Ingredients

• Bromhexine hydrochloride 8 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 10 years: 8 mg (1 tablet) 3 times daily. Children 5–10 years: 4 mg (half tablet) 3 times daily. Children 2–5 years: 4 mg (half tablet) twice daily. Take with meals.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• or diarrhea.
• Mild gastrointestinal upset.
• Rare: allergic reactions
• skin rash.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with active peptic ulcer.
• Use with caution in patients with severe liver or kidney impairment.
• Consult a physician if cough persists beyond 7 days.
• Keep out of reach of children.
