Indication

Bromhexine 8mg is a mucolytic agent used to facilitate expectoration by reducing mucus viscosity in respiratory conditions such as bronchitis, asthma, and other conditions associated with excess mucus.

Ingredients

• Bromhexine hydrochloride 8 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 10 years: 8 mg (1 tablet) 3 times daily. Children 5–10 years: 4 mg 3 times daily. Children 2–5 years: 4 mg twice daily. Take with meals.

Side effects

• Nausea

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with a history of peptic ulcer.
• Use with caution in hepatic or renal impairment.
