Indication

Anofen is an NSAID used for relief of mild to moderate pain (headache, toothache, menstrual pain, muscle pain) and for reduction of fever.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 200 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1–2 tablets (200–400 mg) every 6–8 hours as needed. Maximum 3 doses (1200 mg) per day. Take with food or milk.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• heartburn.
• Dizziness or headache.
• Rare: gastrointestinal bleeding
• raised blood pressure
• allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to ibuprofen or other NSAIDs.
• Avoid in patients with active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular
• renal
• or hepatic disease.
• Not recommended during the third trimester of pregnancy.
• Keep out of reach of children.
