Indication

Econazine (Econazole) is an antifungal agent used topically for the treatment of fungal skin infections including tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris (jock itch), and cutaneous candidiasis.

Ingredients

• Econazole nitrate 1%

Direction

Apply to the affected area once or twice daily. Continue for at least 2 weeks after symptoms resolve to prevent recurrence. Clean and dry the affected area before application.

Side effects

• Local irritation
• burning
• or redness.
• Rare: allergic contact dermatitis.

Precautions

• For external use only
• avoid contact with eyes.
• Discontinue if irritation or sensitivity develops.
• Not for use on deep wounds or mucous membranes.
• Keep out of reach of children.
