Indication

Oxyboldine is a combination antispasmodic used for symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic spasms of the gastrointestinal tract including irritable bowel syndrome, functional bowel disorders, and biliary colic.

Ingredients

• Trimebutine maleate 100 mg
• Phloroglucinol 80 mg

Direction

Adults: 1 tablet 3 times daily, preferably before meals. Take with water. Use as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Mild nausea or dry mouth.
• Rare: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Consult a physician if symptoms are severe or persistent.
• Not recommended for children without medical supervision.
