Indication
Strepsils Soothing is an antiseptic throat lozenge used for the relief of sore throat, pharyngitis, and throat irritation. It provides soothing and mild antiseptic action against oral bacteria.
Ingredients
- Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg
- 2
- 4
- Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
Direction
Adults and children over 6 years: 1 lozenge every 2–3 hours as needed. Dissolve slowly in the mouth. Maximum 8 lozenges per day.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated.
- Rare: mild local irritation
- allergic reactions.
Precautions
- Not for use in children under 6 years.
- Consult a physician if sore throat is severe
- lasts more than 3 days
- or is accompanied by high fever.
- Keep out of reach of children.
