Indication

Strepsils Soothing is an antiseptic throat lozenge used for the relief of sore throat, pharyngitis, and throat irritation. It provides soothing and mild antiseptic action against oral bacteria.

Ingredients

• Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg
• 2
• 4
• Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 6 years: 1 lozenge every 2–3 hours as needed. Dissolve slowly in the mouth. Maximum 8 lozenges per day.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Rare: mild local irritation
• allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Not for use in children under 6 years.
• Consult a physician if sore throat is severe
• lasts more than 3 days
• or is accompanied by high fever.
• Keep out of reach of children.
