Alaxan fr 200mg/325mg

Indication

Alaxan FR is a combination analgesic and antipyretic used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, muscle pain, menstrual cramps, back pain, and to reduce fever. The combination of ibuprofen and paracetamol provides complementary analgesic action.

Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 200 mg
• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 325 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed with food. Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours. Not recommended for children under 12 years. Take with a full glass of water and with food or milk to reduce stomach upset.

• Gastrointestinal bleeding with prolonged use
• Dizziness
• headache
• Skin rash or allergic reaction (rare)
• Liver damage with paracetamol overdose

Precautions

• Do not use with other NSAIDs or paracetamol
• containing products.
• Avoid in patients with peptic ulcer
• gastrointestinal bleeding
• or severe liver/kidney impairment.
• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease
• hypertension
• or asthma.
• Do not use in last trimester of pregnancy.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years.
• Do not exceed recommended dose.
• Discontinue and consult a physician if signs of gastrointestinal bleeding occur.
