Indication
Treatment of aphthous ulcers (mouth ulcers) and other inflammatory lesions of the oral mucosa.
Ingredients
- Triamcinolone acetonide 0.1%
Direction
Apply a small amount to the affected area two to three times daily after meals and at bedtime. Do not rub in; allow paste to adhere naturally.
Side effects
- Local burning or stinging sensation on application.
- Risk of oral candidiasis with prolonged use.
- Rarely
- systemic corticosteroid effects with excessive use.
Precautions
- Avoid prolonged use without medical supervision.
- Not recommended for use in patients with oral fungal or viral infections unless under medical care.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not use if hypersensitive to corticosteroids.
