Terracycline 10mg/g

Indication

Topical treatment of superficial bacterial skin infections, including infected wounds, impetigo, and minor skin abrasions.

Ingredients

• Tetracycline hydrochloride 10mg per gram (1%)

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area one to three times daily, or as directed by a physician. Clean the affected area before application.

Side effects

• Local skin irritation
• burning
• or stinging.
• Skin discoloration (yellowish tint).
• Rarely
• allergic contact dermatitis.
• Risk of antibiotic
• resistant bacterial overgrowth with prolonged use.

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes
• mouth
• and mucous membranes.
• Do not use on extensive areas of skin without medical supervision.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Discontinue if hypersensitivity or irritation develops.
