Indication
Topical treatment of superficial bacterial skin infections, including infected wounds, impetigo, and minor skin abrasions.
Ingredients
- Tetracycline hydrochloride 10mg per gram (1%)
Direction
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area one to three times daily, or as directed by a physician. Clean the affected area before application.
Side effects
- Local skin irritation
- burning
- or stinging.
- Skin discoloration (yellowish tint).
- Rarely
- allergic contact dermatitis.
- Risk of antibiotic
- resistant bacterial overgrowth with prolonged use.
Precautions
- For external use only.
- Avoid contact with eyes
- mouth
- and mucous membranes.
- Do not use on extensive areas of skin without medical supervision.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Discontinue if hypersensitivity or irritation develops.
