Panadol 500mg

Indication

Used for the relief of mild to moderate pain, including headache, toothache, backache, period pain, and muscular pain. Also used to reduce fever (high temperature).

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as required. Do not take more than 8 tablets (4 g) in 24 hours. Allow at least 4 hours between doses. Take with water.

Side effects

• Rare: allergic reactions such as skin rash or urticaria
• Very rare: serious skin reactions (discontinue if rash develops)
• Liver damage in cases of overdose

Precautions

• Do not take with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment
• consult a doctor before use.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• overdose can cause serious liver damage.
• Consult a doctor if pain or fever persists for more than 3 days.
• Alcohol consumption increases the risk of liver damage
• avoid excessive alcohol while taking this medicine.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years at this tablet strength.
