Indication
- Major depressive disorder - Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) - Panic disorder - Social anxiety disorder - Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) - Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD)
Ingredients
- Sertraline (as Sertraline Hydrochloride)
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily, either in the morning or evening, with or without food. Consistent timing is recommended.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhea or upset stomach
- Insomnia or drowsiness
- Sexual dysfunction
- Increased sweating
- Dry mouth
Precautions
- Do not use with MAOIs
- Risk of serotonin syndrome
- Monitor for worsening suicidal thoughts
- Avoid alcohol during treatment
- Use caution with blood thinners
- Taper dose slowly when discontinuing
