Indication
Neuroprotective agent for treatment of acute ischaemic stroke, traumatic brain injury, cognitive disorders, and glaucoma
Ingredients
- Citicoline Sodium 500mg (equivalent to Citicoline 500mg)
Direction
Adults: 500-2000mg daily in 1-2 divided doses. Acute stroke: 1000mg every 12 hours. Take with or without food.
Side effects
- Headache
- nausea
- diarrhoea
- insomnia
- restlessness
- dizziness (uncommon)
Precautions
- Use with caution in patients with hypertonia of the parasympathetic nervous system. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.
