Indication
- Prevention of heart attack - Prevention of ischemic stroke - Acute coronary syndrome - Post-stent placement maintenance - Management of unstable angina
Ingredients
- Aspirin (Acetylsalicylic Acid) and Clopidogrel
Direction
Take orally with water. Usually one tablet daily, preferably at the same time each day with food to minimize stomach upset.
Side effects
- Easy bruising
- Nosebleeds
- Indigestion or heartburn
- Increased bleeding time
- Abdominal pain
Precautions
- Increased risk of bleeding
- Avoid in gastric ulcers
- Stop 5
- 7 days before surgery
- Caution in kidney or liver disease
- Avoid with other blood thinners
