Indication
- Acute gouty arthritis - Acute pain management - Rheumatoid arthritis symptoms - Ankylosing spondylitis symptoms - Post-operative dental surgery pain
Ingredients
- Etoricoxib
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily with or without food. The 120 mg dose should be used only for the acute symptomatic period, limited to a maximum of 8 days.
Side effects
- Swelling of legs (edema)
- Dizziness and headache
- Palpitations or irregular heartbeat
- Increased blood pressure
- Indigestion or heartburn
- Fatigue or flu
- like symptoms
Precautions
- Contraindicated in congestive heart failure
- Avoid if history of stroke
- Monitor blood pressure regularly
- History of gastrointestinal ulcers
- Avoid in severe renal impairment
- Not for patients with ischemic heart disease
