Indication

Used for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, migraine, toothache, backache, rheumatic and muscle pain, as well as the relief of cold and flu symptoms and fever. The caffeine component enhances the analgesic effect of paracetamol.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Caffeine 65 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 tablets up to 4 times daily as needed. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours. Take with or after food if stomach upset occurs. Swallow whole with water.

Side effects

• Rare at recommended doses: skin rash or allergic reactions.
• Overdose can cause serious liver damage — seek immediate medical attention.
• Caffeine component may cause insomnia
• nervousness
• or palpitations in sensitive individuals.
• Nausea or stomach upset may occur.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Do not take with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Avoid in patients with liver disease or severe renal impairment.
• Contains caffeine — avoid if sensitive to caffeine or in combination with other caffeine
• containing products.
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 3 days.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years.
• Keep out of reach of children.
