Indication
Hypertension (blood pressure)
Ingredients
- Losartan Potassium USP 50mg
- Hydrochlorothiazide USP 12.5mg

Side effects
- Common: dizziness
- upper respiratory infection
- back pain
- fatigue
- headache
- dehydration
- increased urination
- photosensitivity. Rare: hyperkalemia
- renal impairment
- angioedema
- hypotension
- electrolyte imbalance (hypokalemia
- hyponatremia)
- hyperglycemia
- gout
- pancreatitis.
Precautions
- Do not use in pregnancy. Monitor blood pressure regularly. May cause dizziness — rise slowly from sitting or lying position. Stay hydrated. Regular kidney function tests may be needed.
