Indication
For the management of asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and other broncho-pulmonary disorders involving bronchospasm.
Ingredients
- Terbutaline Sulphate 1.5mg per 5ml
Direction
Adult: 2.5 to 5mg three times a day, up to 15mg per 24 hours. Children 12-15 years: 2.5mg three times a day. Below 12 years: As directed by physician. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Common: tremor
- headache
- tachycardia
- palpitations
- nervousness. Rare: hypokalemia
- arrhythmias
- paradoxical bronchospasm.
Precautions
- POM (Prescription Only Medicine). Refer package insert for dosage and other information.
