Indication
Antitussive and bronchial mucolytic
Ingredients
- Bromhexine HCl 8mg
- Dextromethorphan HBr 15mg
Direction
Indication and dosage: See enclosed leaflet or as directed by the physician.
Side effects
- Common: nausea
- diarrhea
- abdominal discomfort
- transient gastric upset
- drowsiness
- dizziness
- stomach upset. Rare: severe allergic reactions
- Stevens
- Johnson syndrome (very rare)
- serotonin syndrome (with SSRIs)
- hallucinations (overdose)
- respiratory depression.
Precautions
- Do not exceed recommended dose. Avoid in patients taking MAO inhibitors. May cause drowsiness. Not for children under 6 years unless directed by a doctor.
